Two local authors are presenting their newest bodies of work and you are invited!
Gina DeMillo Wagner’s first published book- Forces of Nature, a memoir. Gina’s brother Alan had a rare genetic disorder that caused him to veer from loving to violent. When Alan died suddenly, Gina was pulled away from the safety of her adult life and thrust back into a family she has been estranged from for nearly ten years. FORCES OF NATURE follows this rewinding of the past.
Radha Marcum, poet, Pine Soot Tendon Bone is Winner of the 50th Anniversary Washington Prize. This is Radha’s second published book of poems is an elegy for our times, lamenting unfolding crises—wildfires, climate change, gun violence—alongside personal loss and uprootedness.
