Lucas Davis Quintet

The Lucas Davis Quintet is made up of 5 young musicians who all grew up in Colorado. They will be playing a mixed set with some originals by the band, as well as music by Lucas’s heroes. Trumpeter Lucas Davis is a creative musician dedicated to spreading peace and love by sharing his music with audiences across the world. He is a passionate improviser, performer, and composer in the jazz world, but enjoys playing many genres. He plays regularly with a Latin reggae band called EleNA in the San Francisco Bay area and is also a well versed classical trumpeter. He will be joined by 4 amazing musicians: drummer Reece Cogswell, bassist Alan Jones, Pianist Max Moore, and Vibraphonist Alec Streete. Lucas and Alan currently attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Reece just graduated from San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has just made his return to his homeland in Colorado, and Max and Alec are both working musicians in the Denver Area.
