Singer-songwriter Bob Barrick brings together Colorado musicians to celebrate the music of Jimmy Buffett. This evening will feature greatest-hit sing-a-longs for the casual fan, deep cuts for the truest Parrotheads, and a rotating cast of featured guest artists. Before Buffett’s passing, Barrick gained recognition from JB, himself, for his spirited covers of classics like “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” “Pencil Thin Mustache,” and “Banana Republics.” As a formidable folk artist in his own right, Barrick has graced the stages of the Macky Auditorium and eTown Hall, opened for the likes of Josiah Johnson and Graham Lesh, and released 9 albums between 3 acts in 10 years. Living & Dying in 3/4 Time is a party–coconut bras and grass skirts are encouraged!
Bar opens at 5 PM and happy hour from open to 7 PM. (21+) The Velvet Elk Lounge does not allow minors – No Exceptions.
