Little Bird w/ Lemons

August 8 @ 8:00 pm - 11:59 pm MDT

For fans of Nick Hakim, Mk.gee, Hiatus Kaiyote, Stop Light Observations, Little Stranger

Little Bird is a rising indie band hailing from East Coast, USA. Since forming in 2017 they’ve gained attention for their “bedroom psychedelic” genre-bending sound. The five-piece lineup consists of vocalist/guitarist James “J” Hurtt, guitar player James “Jim” Rubush, bassist Ben Mossman, drummer Oleg Terentiev, and key player Noah Jones. Their hypnotic songs, and charismatic and exciting live performances led the band to share bills with Stop Light Observations, flipturn, Caroline Rose, Susto, and G. Love & Special Sauce. A 2022 national headlining tour featured appearances at Suwannee Hulaween and Summer Camp Music Festival. The band is currently releasing a continuum record called “Sweet Happy Life” which is set on a rolling release indefinitely. “Out! in the Sun!” was released July 2023, and “SP ACE” was released in October 2023. “It’s extremely likely you’ll fall headfirst for Little Bird, mere moments after hearing the band’s 2018 release Familiar. The heady mix of ambient soul, R&B, and trippy jazz puts them in the kindred spirit category to everyone from D’Angelo and Erykah Badu to Australian jam band Hiatus Kaiyote. And their unique sound is showcased by musicianship of the highest order.” .::Randy Shulman.::.Metro Weekly Magazine
