KGNU Presents On the Rise Music Series ft. Float Like a Buffalo, Rex Peoples & XFactor, more

Roots Music Project, a non-profit music community advocate, is thrilled to announce the On the Rise Concert Series. This series will honor Boulder’s past, present and future as a mecca for musical creativity and expression.

Three outdoor concerts will be held on The Hill on June 22, July 27, and August 24. The fourth concert will take place at Boulder Junction on September 28th. This free concert series is made possible by the generous support of the City of Boulder and other sponsors.

Denvers funk supergroup LIT SOCIETY playing Funk, Jazz/Funk, Nu Funk, Hip Hop and more! Float Like a Buffalo is rock with funk, ska, reggae, and jam influences. Bear Hat is an eclectic five-piece acoustic ensemble hailing from the majestic mountain communities around Boulder. Jazz, Rock and Blues guitarist Jack Brown was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Jack’s has played lead guitar and lead vocals in Potato Francis, Overt Defiance and numerous other bands in venues across the Front Range of Colorado.
