Juneteenth at Roots Music Project! A night of soul-stirring tunes and powerful performances celebrating freedom. Experience the talents of Rex Peoples and Xfactr, Jack Hadley, Wellington Bullings, Kid Astronaut, Zivanai Masango, and Blessing Chimanga as we honor this historic milestone.

Blessing Chimanaga:

Blessing is an internationally recognized musician, having performed with many of Zimbabwe’s musical legends, as well as recording and touring around the globe with his own band.

Zivanai Masango:

Zivanai Masango like you’ve never seen him before. Up close and personal with the award winning Zimbabwean artists as he brings all his experience gathered from decades of working with some of the world’s top most artists to this intimate stage.

Kid Astronaut:

Enter the limitless world of Kid Astronaut , a musical visionary transcending genres with influences from R&B icons Usher, Erykah Badu, and D’Angelo, blended seamlessly with the raw energy of Hip-Hop and Punk. Kid Astronaut’s music isn’t just a sound; it’s a vibe.Step into the cosmic narrative as Kid Astronaut invites you to join The Aliens—a global community where music is the catalyst for a movement. The mission? Holistic well-being, spiritual reflection, and social change.

Wellington Bullings:

Wellington Bullings adds a soulful touch to everything she sings. Her music is a balance of classic soul, R&B, and Jazz. With a rich sultry voice and a natural elegance, it’s easy to see why she is making a name for herself in the world of Neo Soul and beyond.

Jack Hadley:

Jack Hadley was born in the Philippines into a military family. When they returned to America, they were stationed in San Francisco where he spent his childhood in the Haight-Ashbury district. Jack’s mother bought him an acoustic guitar at an early age to keep him busy. The family eventually moved to Denver, Colorado, where he learned to play music by ear, playing everything from Hendrix to Dylan, unaware that he was learning the foundation of American music – the Blues.

Rex Peoples & XFactr:

Rex is the 7x winner of the “Best Blues Vocalist” in Colorado. If you like the Blues, R&B, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Koko Talyor then you will love Rex.
