Jack Brown, who heads to USC Thornton School of Music this fall, is throwing a benefit concert for Roots Music.
Join us at Roots Music Project for an unforgettable evening of musical variety and talent! Jack Brown and Friends are taking the stage, featuring an incredible lineup of artists from multiple genres. Be prepared for an eclectic mix of soulful gospel, swinging big band and combo jazz, gritty blues, and high-energy rock.
Jack Brown
Jazz, Rock and Blues guitarist Jack Brown was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Jack’s has played lead guitar and lead vocals in Potato Francis, Over Defiance and numerous other bands in venues across the Front Range of Colorado. He’s played as first chair drums and first chair guitar for Boulder’s Fairview High School Jazz band and was selected as the guitarist for Colorado’s All-State Jazz band in 2023 and 2024. Jack graduated from Fairview High School in 2024 and is heading to the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music in Fall 2024 as one of twenty-five students selected for the Popular Music Program. Jack has worked with numerous teachers in Colorado and across the US and has been affiliated with Roots Music Project since 2017.
