Historic Elitch Theatre Tours

June 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm MDT

Built in 1891, the Historic Elitch Theatre has been an important cultural hub in Denver for over a century.

During the guided tours, participants will have the opportunity to explore the theatre’s magnificent architecture, learn about its illustrious past, and uncover the secrets hidden within its hallowed halls. From backstage anecdotes to tales of Hollywood legends who graced its stage, each tour offers a unique glimpse into the theatre’s storied history.

Tour guides provide fascinating insights into the theater’s past, including its connection to the famous Elitch Gardens amusement park — originally called Elitch’s Zoological Gardens — which moved downtown in the mid-1990s and historic theatre was preserved at the original location.

Visitors will learn about the famous actors, directors, and producers who have graced its stage over the years, including Cecil B. DeMille, Grace Kelly, Robert Redford, Vincent Price, and hundreds more!
