Step out of the traditional orchestra setting and into an immersive experience that breaks barriers and celebrates diversity. Geared to spotlight the musicians of the Boulder Phil, the Shift Series lifts the facade of the stereotypical orchestral concert. Performed in unique venues along the Front Range, talking, dancing, hoots, and hollers are not just allowed but encouraged! A mixture of classics, blues, funk, jazz, bluegrass, and more by composers of diverse backgrounds for string chamber ensembles, bass, piano, and guitar. Modern selections include songs that have been performed by artists such as Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.
