CU Boulder Soundworks is a concert series celebrating new music by student composers, improvisers, performers, and collaborators from across the College of Music and greater university community. This November, SoundWorks is welcoming world-renowned composers and performers, including Grammy-winning klezmer fiddler and composer Alicia Svigals, silent film composer and pianist Donald Sosin, and contemporary music ensemble Duo Cortona.
From string orchestra to voice/violin duos, this concert will premiere works by Alicia Svigals, Donald Sosin, Luka Vezmar, Rain Michael, Abigail Kellems, Holly McMahon, Josie Arnett, Asher Dobrin, Jonah Stern, Ryan Flat, Alan Mackwell, and Gracie Fagan.
