Join The Art of Cheese at the Museum of Boulder for this entertaining, educational and tasty experience with special guests – Baby Goats! A portion of the proceeds from the class are to be donated to support the Museum’s mission to showcase inclusive community stories, preserve them for the future, and inspire all of us to effect positive change.
Kate Johnson, founder of The Art of Cheese and author of Say Cheese! will teach you how to make Chevre & Fromage Blanc cheeses in an engaging and interactive presentation. While you’re learning the art and science behind cheesemaking, you’ll be sampling 4 different cheeses paired with wine, gluten-free crackers and bread. At the end of this portion of the event we will proceed out to the courtyard to visit with 5 of the baby goats born on our Longmont farm this spring.
After the cheese, wine and goat visits, you may wish to tour the exhibits in the museum and then stay in downtown Boulder to enjoy dinner or shopping on nearby Pearl Street Mall to make for a full evening of summer Colorado fun!
