Castle Rock Band: live at Festival Park

June 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm MDT

The Castle Rock Band will celebrate the nation’s independence with a free, Grand Sousa concert at Festival Park in downtown Castle Rock on Saturday, June 29 at 7:00 pm. Included in the program are several pieces by John Philip Sousa, including “The Stars and Stripes Forever.”

This is the second of Castle Rock Band’s summer concert series. The band will perform two more outdoor concerts on August 10 and September 28. All concerts are presented free of charge as a service to the community. Audience members are encouraged to bring their seating.

The Castle Rock Band is made up of volunteer musicians from Douglas County and the surrounding area. Members range from high school age to senior citizens. No auditions are required and all interested musicians are welcome. For more information about joining the band, visit www.CastleRockBand.org.
