Cass Clayton & Mike Maurer at the Oriental

Cass Clayton Band blends influences of rock, funk, soul, gospel and R&B in a new way with plenty of inventive sounds and unexpected twists. Cass, along with co-writer/producer, Taylor Scott, have been praised for their unique approach to contemporary American rock and roots music. With a voice loaded with smoky soulfulness, it’s easy to see why Cass Clayton Band is landing on some of the best stages and festivals. The band has become known for its tight chemistry and high-energy stage presence.

Mike Maurer began playing guitar at a very early age, studying with Jock Bartley of national hit sensation, Firefall. Mike was a natural at guitar and infatuated with the blues. Not wasting much time, Mike received national merit winning a youth talent show case in New Orleans. After his Debut release, Chasing Pearl , Mike toured extensively sharing the stage with acts such as Johnny Winter, Eric Gales, Tab Benoit, Earth wind and fire, Richie Kotzen, Papa Chubby and many more. His long awaited follow up album is set for release Fall 2023. Aside from endorsements and regional awards , Mike is An excellent and seasoned performer. The Audience can expect a memorizing energetic show filled with soaring vocals and in your face ripping guitar. With Mikes talent , energy and dedication paired with an amazingly talented backing band, The Sky is the Limit.
