AIs Highway 50
HIGHWAY 50 is a project of Al Laughlin, original member of the Colorado band, The Samples. Laughlin helped write some of The Samples most popular songs featuring catchy hooks and a bubble reggae style, giving the band its signature sound.
HIGHWAY 50’s core lineup includes bassist/producer Chris Wright, guitarist Scott Higgins, and often includes Andrew McNew and Sarah Mount on horns. Laughlin has released two records, a self titled recording, and The Violet Project, which can be found on Al Laughlin & Highway50 YouTube , iTunes , CD Baby , SoundCloud and Reverbnation .

Currently, Laughlin is in the Boulder, Colorado’s Violet Studio completing a new EP titled: “Where’s Al?” featuring some of the most inspired music to date.

Hownlin’ Goatz

Mountain-Grown original Rock N’ Roll featuring veteran artists Johnny Conrad of Swindl, East Clintwood and Spank Machine. The Alcapones

The Alcapones is a Ska and Reggae band born in the Rocky mountains, made up of one part heart and one part madness. This is feel-good Front Range ska at it’s finest – original songs which draw heavy inspiration from the groundbreaking sounds of 1960’s and 70’s Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, and Dub – and seamlessly blend it together with contemporary musical flair. The result is an eclectic sound that can be enjoyed by a wide variety of musical tastes – everything from old-school ska, heavy dub, funky reggae, to island bluegrass. The Alcapones’ groovy recipe is sure to continuously inspire your feet on the dance floor!
