This is a combination march/parade that celebrates the life and work of the honorable Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by also saluting the masses who walked in common cause of freedom. We will meet at 10 a.m. at the City Park fountain just inside of City Park on 17th and Esplanade, north of East High School.

Wondering how to reduce wasteful plastic in your life? KGNU and Eco-Cycle invite you to participate in a Community Conversation on Plastic Waste on Thursday, January 31. Join us for a panel discussion with representatives from Eco-Cycle, the Inland Ocean Coalition, and local business and sustainability leaders on the reality of plastic waste, its impact on the environment, especially on its impact on water systems. We'll look at the challenges in recycling many different plastics, and we'll discuss what individuals and businesses can do to reduce plastic waste in Boulder County. This event is free and open to the public.
