After an arduous public process lasting several months, KGNU was selected as one of thirteen organizations and projects located in the City of Boulder to be included as a beneficiary of the 2M & 2N Community, Culture, Safety Tax Extension ballot measure, if passed in the November 2017 elections.

On October 9, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Boulder Community Broadcast Assn. proposed an addition of a Vision Statement to the station's bylaws.

The board will vote on these proposed Vision Statement at their next meeting on November 13th 2017. Public comment is welcome and encouraged. The full text of the proposal is here.
