KGNUs Media Gardens Listening Station at the Arts in Society 48 Hours Exhibition  
We're honored to invite you to KGNU's Media Gardens Listening Station as part of the Arts in Society 48 Hours Exhibition. The listening station features radio productions created by youth who participated in the Media Gardens program and will be exhibited at Denver's RedLine Contemporary Art Center. The listening station features an artistic media garden created by artist Omar Fuentes Sangabriel using repurposed audio gear and is designed to express the blossoming of youth's voice and empowerment, that nourishes and helps us thrive as a community.

The Arts in Society exhibit is on view from August 10 through September 9 at the RedLine Contemporary Art Center, 2350 Arapahoe Street in Denver. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Celebrating Under the Floorboards  
KGNU's show 'Under the Floorboards' that airs every Saturday from 11pm-Midnight is celebrating 36ish years of broadcast!

On August 31st we will celebrate these years with the more obscure music of Denver and Albuquerque at Syntax. Preorders for this show will be $8, and Day of Show will be $10. Proceeds will help KGNU bring more local and national experimental artists to Colorado and the airwaves

Performers include: Midwife, CURTA x Brotherhood of Machines, Multicast (Uncle Jeffs Improv Electronic Group of KGNU), and Bigawatt from Albuquerque will finish the night. bios+a+ic of Under the Floobards will be DJing and hosting the whole night.

Good news music collectors and appreciators: KGNU's annual Record and CD Sale will be Sunday Sept. 2nd from 10am-4pm at our Denver home 700 Kalamath St. Come dig through stacks of rock, pop, folk, soul, and an incredible rare international LP collection in support of your Community Radio station.
