KGNU's Connecting Communities Fall Fund Drive

KGNU's Fall Fund Drive is scheduled for Saturday October 10 through Sunday October 18. The fall membership campaign is one of two major fundraising drives held by the station each year and contributes to the resources that will help keep you informed and entertained. Tune in for special news programs and exciting music specials.

Every day KGNU Community Radio informs, enlightens, and deepens understanding of the days most critical events. For more than 42 years, KGNU Community Radio has been a beacon of trusted news and informed conversations upon which thousands of people rely.

In the midst of a global pandemic, community radio is providing important information on COVID-19, the upcoming election, and local perspectives on the worlds most important stories. When it comes to information about local elections, listeners turn to KGNU because they trust us to provide analysis, diverse voices, and perspectives not represented by commercial media outlets or even many public radio outlets. Not only that, but so many are turning to KGNU to find refuge and unwind to some of the very best eclectic music from all over the world.

KGNU works 24/7 to connect communities on and off-air highlighting overlooked and under-represented voices in the community through our diverse music and news programs and radio training programs for youth and adults.

"During these challenging times, the independent voice of community radio speaks truth to power and offers personal engagement too often missing in our fast-paced world," said KGNU manager Tim Russo. "Approximately seventy percent of our general operating revenue is provided by generous listeners who embrace the power of grassroots radio."
