KGNU Presents: An Evening with Noam Chomsky

World-renowned author and speaker Noam Chomsky will Skype in to Boulder for an exclusive talk regarding the outcomes of the 2018 midterm elections and what the results imply about our future.

Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher, historian, cognitive scientist, and social critic. Chomsky is one of the most-cited scholars in history. He has influenced a broad array of academic fields and is widely recognized as a paradigm-shifter who sparked a major revolution in the human sciences.

Noam Chomsky's ideas have proved significant within the anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist movements. Following his vocal opposition to US involvement in Vietnam and multiple arrests for his activism, Chomsky was placed on then-President Nixons enemies list.

Join KGNU Community Radio for a Skype talk with Noam Chomsky, Friday, November 9, at 7 p.m., at the Unity of Boulder Church, 2855 Folsom St. (at the intersection of Folsom and Valmont), and at The Alliance Center, 1536 Wynkoop St in Denver (directions and transportation info).

After the talk, David Barsamian of Alternative Radio will moderate a Q & A session.

Doors are at 6 p.m., talk at 7 p.m.

Suggested Donation: $15; Students and Seniors: $5.
