Listening Together: 40 Years of Community Radio exhibit
Discover the power of Boulder's community-powered radio station, celebrating 40 years of amplifying community, culture, and music. Activate the auditory senses that allow for deep listening. Come learn what makes KGNU the community resource that Boulder has come to cherish. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore KGNU's historic programming, its in-depth news, eclectic music, cultural, and philosophical programs - produced and curated by heartfelt community members. Experience first-hand the pulse of community radio by interacting with recording and listening stations and engage in community conversations with interactive interviews led by nationally recognized radio hosts. View station artifacts, the evolution of broadcast radio, the art behind producing radio, and rare photos documenting four decades of community engagement. This exhibit lets you experience the history, passion, and sensation of being an on-air programmer, a guest on-air, a producer, and part of the listening audience. Become the media in this exhibit and enjoy Listening Together as a community!

The Listening Together exhibit is on display August 4 - September 17 at the Museum of Boulder, 2205 Broadway in Boulder. Entry to the exhibition is free with Museum admission.

Special thanks to Jorian Polis Schutz and the Junonian Fund of the Boulder Community Foundation.
