Indigenous Governing Council from Mexico
Wednesday January 17th and Thursday January 18th, 2018

Join delegates Bettina Cruz and Francisco Grado Villa of Mexico's autonomous Indigenous Governing Council (CIG) for one of four public conversations on the current state of indigenous peoples struggle for autonomy and against major capitalist projects that threaten their territories and communities in Mexico. The CIG delegates will make a two day stop in Colorado during their 20 city Gira Por la Vida tour in the US meeting with local migrant, American Indian, activist, and Latinx communities and organizations. In Colorado, KGNU is proud to have co-coordinated four public meetings in Denver, Boulder and Longomnt.

Meet and talk with the delegates on January 17th in Denver:
at the DU's Korbel Center for International Studies, Latin America Center, Sie Complex room 3015 from 12pm to 1:30pm
or
Cafe Cultura from 6 - 7:00 pm at 910 Galapago St, Denver
January 18th public events will be held at
CUs UMC room 247 from 3 - 4:00 pm in Boulder
and
Casa de la Esperanza from 5 - 7:00 pm at 1520 S Emery St. in Longmont.
