Civic Action Calendar for May 14th 2026 KGNU News
On the weekly Civic Action Calendar, we’ll share information about actions and events hosted by community-based organizations across the Front Range.
Today at 2:30 p.m. — Indivisible Table Mountain will hold a weekly demonstration in Golden they call “Standing For: a rally against injustice.”
Attendees will form a line on the sidewalk spreading from Washington Ave and 10th St. More info at indivisibletablemountain.com.
Today from 5:30pm – 7:30pm General Strike US Colorado presents a Project Taurus Data Center Community Meeting located at the 5580 Tech Center Dr., Colorado Springs
This growing grassroots effort empowers communities in all 50 states to participate in local activism efforts. This demonstration concerns protecting scarce resources and stewardship of those who live in Colorado Springs. You can find more information about the event at GSUS Colorado on Instagram.
Saturday, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Indivisible will hold a visibility event at the Boulder Home Depot to protest their working with ICE. The group will be at the northwest corner of Arapahoe and 30th in Boulder.

Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, SoBoCo indivisible will be holding a visibility event in Superior at the Tesla dealership between McCaslin and Marshall roads

Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. Aurora Unidos CSO will have a Barrio Walk starting at St. Therese Catholic Church in Aurora.
Participants can connect with community, spread know-your-rights information, and learn how to get involved in the fight against ICE. That’s at 1243 Kingston St. in Aurora. More info at AuroraUnidosCSO.org.
Sunday, at 3:00pm Coloradans for The Common Good is holding their Candidates Accountability Session.
Preparing for CO’s Primary in June, CCG will be running through an agenda of popular action items candidates will review as Governor. Sunday, from 11:30am-2:00pm, Freedom Trainers will hold “Resistance Skills & Strategy: A free training in collective noncooperation”
This training is part of the book tour promoting Annie Leonard and Andre Carothers’ new book, Protest: Respect It, Defend It, Use It. Freedom Trainers says it’s a workshop for everyone ready to build real power to protect our communities and our vote.
