25th Anniversary "Charles Sawtelle Memorial" Mountain Jam
The 25th Annual Charles Sawtelle Mountain Jam is Sunday, July 21st, in the side yard of the Gold Hill Inn in Gold Hill. The musical line-up features Mollie O'Brien and the Hamkickers (Rich Moore, Eric Thorin, John Magnie of the Samples and Christian Teele of the E-Tones), Giddy Up Kitty and Finnders & Youngberg. Bike to Work Day
KGNU hosts a breakfast station as part of Boulder's Bike to Work Day. The station will be open 6:30 am to 9:00 am and we will also have a special bike-focused feature on our Morning Magazine, aired weekdays 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. KGNU will offer coffee, juice, bagels, homemade fruit crisps, banana bread and more at 4700 Walnut Street. KGNU, the California Pizza Kitchen and the NAACP are parterning for a fundraiser
KGNU Radio is proud to partner with California Pizza Kitchen and the Denver Branch of the NAACP to raise funds for the weekly broadcast of the Smiley & West News and Commentary Hour. KGNU Presents a 3-day Youth Radio Workshop for Teens
KGNU will offer a 3-day workshop for teens aged 12-19 years old. The classes will cover in-studio radio broadcast skills, field recording basics, using sound editing software, how to be a music disc jockey, creating a news feature and/or radio drama and much more.
