Community Calendar:
About the Community Calendar
- It is a listing of local, non-profit, non-musical events
- It is read twice every weekday morning, around 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- It lists little more than the event, the location and the time
- On a given day, only events occurring that day are read
- Each week, the Community Calendar is sponsored by a different non-profit organization
Notes:
- Only events that benefit noprofit organizations are accepted
- Submission doesn't ensure inclusion in the calendar
- Only about 3 submissions, chosen by KGNU staff, are read on the air each day
- As only events occurring that same day are announced, weekend events will not be announced
- Notices in our on-line Arts Calendar and Events Calendar may be considered for the Community Calendar
- We asks you to submit your musical events to the Concert Calendar instead
- We asks you to submit your non-musical, arts events to the Arts Calendar
- We asks you to submit your non-musical, non-arts events to the Events Calendar
