OPEPA is part of the larger organization,Centro Latinoamericano Para Las Artes, Ciencias y Educacion or CLACE. They help children of Latin American heritage enjoy and learn about the environmental sciences. Host Nikki Kayser chats with Mateo De Valenzuela about their programs in the Front Range. OpEPA is a Colombian organization whose mission is to reconnect children and youth with the Earth so that they act in an environmentally sustainable manner. Through this reconnection, children and youth may become agents in reducing environmental degradation and promoting a more sustainable generation of decision makers.
