Finally Boulder has an indy film house. The Dairy Center for the Arts now includes a 60-seat art-house cinema outfitted with plush stadium seating, 5.1 Surround Sound and Hi-Def DLP projection, where folks can see first-run independent and international film, live opera and ballet broadcasts via satellite, and other high-quality cultural programming. Education is a key component of the facility, with frequent talk-back discussions scheduled after films. Richard Harris chats with host Nikki Kayser.

After learning about cancer and its effects on kids, she started her own fund-raising group to raise money for cancer research and cures. They help children of Latin American heritage enjoy and learn about the environmental sciences. Host Nikki Kayser chats with Mateo De Valenzuela about their programs in the Front Range. OpEPA is a Colombian organization whose mission is to reconnect children and youth with the Earth so that they act in an environmentally sustainable manner. Through this reconnection, children and youth may become agents in reducing environmental degradation and promoting a more sustainable generation of decision makers.
