The Victim Assistance Program helps victims of crime and survivors of sudden or violent death regain their physical, emotional, social, and economic well being by means of intervention and advocacy. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for victim advocates. Their next training is in April. Angelo Torrez describes the training and explains why he has become an advocate.
