Monday, June 1st, 2009Personal Investment Enterprise (PIE), is a collaborative community effort. Nino Gallo, program coordinator, explains the anti-poverty policy strategy to host Nikki Kayser. It is directed toward enabling struggling families to build assets and achieve economic well being. It rewards the monthly savings of working-poor families who are trying to buy their first home, pay for post-secondary education or start a small business through the use of matching funds from private and public sources into Individual Development Accounts.
