KGNU Celebrates Six Years in Denver
|
As another big summer of outreach draws to a close, we want to take time out to let all of our stellar volunteers know how much your efforts are appreciated. What better way than a big First Friday party to celebrate our 6th Anniversary in Denver?
Please join KGNU at our Denver Studio 700 Kalamath on Fri. September 3rd from 6-10pm with DJ sets from KGNU DJs, as well as a live TV broadcast of Denver's reggae-legend-in-the-making Spellbinder in the Open Media Foundation studio. Significantly the production crew for the TV show is comprised of KGNU volunteers, staff, and board, producing our first live music show for KGNU on cable access.
As this event is a First Friday, all of our neighboring art galleries will be having openings, so taking a walk around the neighborhood may prove as entertaining as anything we have going. It should be a really fun time so please mark your calendar for Friday Sept. 3rd, and know your time and energy is much appreciated.
