3rd Annual Mouse's Pie R Square Dance
|
Come on out for pies, ice cream, music and square dancing with the band Lizard Spring at Mouse's Pie R Square Dance, Sunday, October 2, 2-6 PM at the Altona Grange. The historic Grange is located at the corner of 39th Street and Nelson Road, between Boulder and Lyons.
The event is a benefit for KGNU and a commemoration of Mouse Bradshaw. Mouse was a beloved KGNU staff member for 20 years who passed away in 2007 shortly after retiring.
Tickets are $15 for adults (children under 12 free) or $10 if you bring a pie. There will be plenty of pie, ice cream, coffee and tea, lots of music, and old-time dancing. All the dances will be easy and taught first; no experience or partner required. Bring instruments for outside jamming. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.
