Listening on line just got better
|
Our volunteers Andy Ciszek, Neal McBurnett and Matt Boersma, plus Peter Billig and David Hardy of Nedernet, set up an off-site dedicated server, connected more directly to an internet backbone, to relay the audio streams from our in-house servers. And they did it at a fraction of the monthly cost that specialized companies charge for an equivalent service. In plain language, that means that many more of us will be able to listen to KGNU on line, with fewer dropouts, at little cost to KGNU. Tune in!
